Washable Pads for your Swiffer Wet Jet
How cool is this??? I can't stand spending lots of money to refill my swiffer bottle and to purchase new pads for the Swiffer Wet Jet. Now I don't have to!

Hmmm...
I'm not sure why, but I have pretty much 0 news to share about on this blog. :) We have been doing our Handwriting Without Tears workbooks, and F is progressing very well. She was so ready for this a year ago. This is 1 thing that I probably shouldn't have waited on as long as I did. Now, I'm having to go back and teach her how to form the letters properly. Oh well! Live and learn, right? I've got more kids to get it right with. Ha!
In Jan. we start F's K/1st grade year. I'm not really sure which it is. Is it 1st grade or is in Kindergarten? I'm not sure. She will be doing 1st grade level Math, but K level reading. Whatever. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter.
Meanwhile, we have been more than busy with ministry stuff around here. The church flooded multiple times this week due to a new roof being put on which wasn't properly sealed. Many nights with little sleep due to that. In addition, I recently added the nursery to my charge on top of the preschool that I've been doing for years now. I'm passionate about both the nursery and the preschool but it certainly keep me on my toes!
I feel as though our move to Africa is getting much closer. I feel an intense acceleration. For that, I am VERY happy. I'm still not sure how God is going to provide for the debt that we still owe, but that's not my issue. :) I'm so glad that it isn't my issue. LOL
Well, that about sums things up around here. I hope you are having a great week!

She's Growing UP!
Yesterday was a big day for my oldest child! Not only did she finish learning how to write all of her numbers in her Handwriting Without Tears book, but she also learned how to ride a bike! She was so excited! It only took 1 day of practicing. . Probably a total of less than an hour and she was off!
She seems so much older now. A few weeks ago she got her ears pierced, and she has taken such good care of her ears all on her own. All I have to do is remind her to clean them (sometines she remembers all on her own) and she gets it done all by herself! Those are just the little things. She has truly become such a fun girl to hang out with. I enjoy being around her, and I enjoy talking with her. She is so caring, generous, and sweet. It's bittersweet. I love the young girl she is maturing into, but I miss the baby I used to hold in my arms. We've been talking about having another baby. I don't know if that is gonna happen, but my oldest child getting older sure makes me want another one! :)
I'm gonna come back and post pictures later.
