I decided to make some number cards, because (being really honest right now) I have pretty much spent zero time teaching my children their numbers. They don't know any of them. LOL So, these are the materials that I used minus the dot markers. I'll explain that below. I chose 1 number per week and we put the number on the refrigerator and we talked about the number often. Also, because they were
laminated I let the children trace them with markers, and then we just cleaned them off with a towel. This added to their number recognition. I also used writing paper to let them practice writing the number after they had sufficently memorized the number's name.
Even my 3 year old did very well writing his numbers.

I used cardstock cut in 1/2 and I wrote their numbers on the on 1 side. I ended up cutting off a tad bit more of each piece so that they
would fit a bit better in the laminator, because I like a lot of room around the edges of the laminating pouch.

On the other side I made corresponding number of dots on the reverse side. I tried using the dot markers in my photo above, but they
bled through, so I ended up just using markers to make dots.
